Jamie received her masters in counseling psychology at the University of Minnesota Twin Cities and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a Minor in Music from Gustavus Adolphus College. She is a believer in the uniqueness of every individual and is passionate about developing creative ways to incorporate the individual’s interests to best help them achieve their goals. With her clients she utilizes various approaches including cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectal behavioral therapy, psycho-dynamic, and client centered therapy. She works with adolescents to young adults with a variety of concerns including Anxiety, Depression, PTSD, Autism Spectrum Disorder, adoption, life transitions, low self-esteem, and difficulties with peer relationships. In addition to individual therapy, she is also the lead therapist for THRIVE and Balanced Emotions Program and a co-facilitator of the ASD Intensive Outpatient program.
In her spare time she enjoys playing softball, working out, dancing, playing flute in community orchestras and small ensembles, going to concerts, and spending time with friends and family.
