An outlet to be heard
People often say that parenting is as difficult as it is rewarding, nothing is truer when you are parenting a child with Autism Spectrum Disorder. It seems as if the highs are higher and lows are lower! Sometimes all parents need extra support, help and encouragement. At PPG we have identified that this is a community of parents that often feels isolated, misunderstood and overwhelmed. Parent Support Group is a place where you can come to feel heard, supported and get encouragement. Your experience is validated and shared. If you feel this might benefit you please reach out and give us a call or drop us an email!
Group meets every Tuesday at 5:30pm – 7:00pm for six weeks. Group is a closed group and covers many topics, some of which are listed here.
- Defining Autism, Yes! My child has autism but WHAT is it?
- How do I know when I am a GOOD parent?
- Emotional Regulation for parents
